This preserves rapid iteration in the early phase and secures the required quality in the final output.

Another often-overlooked point: Sora is more stable in maintaining atmospheric consistency than current mainstream tools. Run the same prompt twice, and the tension between the resulting shots doesn't easily break — this is actually more important than single-frame detail accuracy. After all, viewers rarely check frame by frame, but they immediately sense when a shot feels off.

If you're working on short dramas, brand films, or concept-driven content, adding Sora to your workflow as the "atmosphere driver" is worth it. But if you're doing game assets, specific product demos, or 2D-style animations that need repeated tweaking, the Runway/Midjourney combo is still more controllable for now.

So far, no one has been fully replaced. Sora isn't a tool that replaces others. It solves the texture problem for "scenery/atmosphere/transition" footage, but it can't solve the problems of "precise control" and "creative freedom." Figure out where your current bottleneck is, then decide whether to bring it in. That's far more important than jumping to buy based on a review.

There are more and more tools, but what truly smooths out your workflow is always finding a solution that fills the gaps rather than just stacking strengths.
